We started our journey of health services in 2007 in the form of “Latur Cancer Centre”. Initially it was started as OPD services and indoor services were provided in Jatal Hospital, Latur.With time as there was need and opportunity, we started our own IPD setup in 2009. It was “Latur Cancer & Laparoscopy Centre”, a 20 bedded but well equipped project. Apart from cancer, we added laparoscopy as a speciality for cancer surgeries as there was demand and all over the world, laparoscopic surgeries were making its way even in treatment of cancer. In 2011, we started the concept of “Tumor Board Meeting”, a way of providing comprehensive cancer treatment with the help of Dr. Pramod Tike (Radiation oncologist), Dr. Nikhil Ghadyalpatil (Medical Oncologist) and Dr. Rujuta Ayachit (Surgical Oncopathologist). This helped all our patients in terms of getting the most evidence based and world class treatment.In 2012, the same hospital was expanded to 40 bedded setup as gradually Latur was becoming a well known centre for cancer treatment in Marathwada region. We started services of microvascular reconstruction for major surgical defects after head neck cancers with our plastic surgery team and soon became a trusted centre for these kind of surgeries.

In 2014, we upgraded our Laparoscopy setup with high end and state of the art equipments. As our’s was one of the very few centres in country to perform all kind of advanced laparoscopic surgeries, the work was soon recognized in all medical and social sectors and was appropriately appreciated and awarded at various medical conferences and forums. The key to success was providing best of the services to our patients at very good economic propositions as compared to metro cities.This encouraging journey of health services inspired us to move further and get us into idea of expanding the horizon of our services into other superspecialities. In 2019, we have come up with our new 100 bedded project “ Latur Superspeciality Hospital Pvt Ltd”..

At Latur Superspeciality Hospital, we have state of the art facilities like modular operartion theatres, modular ICU, in house facilities of all investigations like CT scan, USG, Doppler, Xrays, all blood tests.
In addition, we have started services like Bariatric surgeries for obesity, CRS and HIPEC surgeries, facility of chemoport for chemotherapy, breast conservation and reconstrcution services. We have a physiotherapy department for preoperative optimization and postoperative rehabilitation of our patients. We have a nutritionist who can take care of dietary requirements of all our patients.
